Half-day visit to several museums of the city starting with the Goeldi Museum with the zoo, the botanical garden ; continuing to the Museu do Encontro with its anthropological exhibit and located inside Castelo Fortress where the city was founded in 1616 ; last stop is at Polo Joalheiro , a building dating back to 1749, which was initially a convent then thecity jail and a penitentiary. Now, it has been completely refurbished and houses a Gems Museum, the Jewelry Workshop and the Craftsman House, hence becoming a place of reference for research and culture, thus fostering the production of jewelry by Amazonian designers.(entrance fees included).
